Scientific Treatment Process
A BioMyst treatment is bar none the best solution for eliminating harmful germs. Most "sanitizing companies" out there are limited to using spray & wipe techniques, which can be effective for treating counters and desks, but fall critically short when it comes to reaching deep into hard-to-reach areas such as throughout HVAC systems, under & behind furniture, and inside closets and cabinets. We have been able to take advantage of the latest and greatest in sanitizing technology to develop a highly effective three-phased treatment process capable of easily sanitizing these hard-to-reach areas, ensuring the best possible treatment each and every time!
Ultrasonic Fog Sanitizing: Our dry-fog generator uses ultrasonic vibrations to create a large volume of sanitizing fog capable of filling the treatment zone and sanitizing otherwise unreachable areas, such as throughout HVAC systems, inside filled cabinets & closets, under & behind furniture, etc.
Electrostatic Disinfection: Common touch-points such as doorknobs, light switches, etc. typically contain the highest concentration of harmful germs and are therefore treated using a full strength disinfectant. For this we use an electrostatic sprayer, which applies a negative charge to the disinfectant particles, ensuring the solution securely and evenly bonds to any surface.
Porous Surface Sanitizing: Porous surfaces such as carpeting and furniture tend to trap germs deep beneath the surface. Our sanitizing mist treatment is specifically designed penetrate porous surfaces, eliminating germs deep beneath the surface without harming or discoloring sensitive materials.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q) Is the chemical you use effective against coronavirus?
A) Yes, the chemical we use has been approved by the EPA against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19
Q) What chemicals do you use?
A) Although chemical brands will vary with availability, the chemicals we use for sanitizing are chlorine-dioxide based. Chlorine-dioxide is as effective, but much gentler than chlorine bleach and does not produce any of the same harmful byproducts.
Q) Is this sanitizer safe for people and pets?
A) Yes, we will only use food-contact safe sanitizers that have been proven to be non-toxic and safe for people and pets .
Q) If the chemicals are safe, why do your applicators wear PPE?
A) Our applicators are required to wear PPE to prevent breathing in large volumes of chemicals as they are being applied and also to avoid exposure to potential harmful contaminants within treatment areas such as viruses, bacteria, etc.
Q) How long does a treatment take?
A) Treatments usually take between 30 - 90 minutes, but treatment time will vary depending on the building size, type and restrictions.
Q) When can I re-enter the building?
A) We recommend waiting at least 30 minutes after the treatment is complete before re-entering the building. The chemicals are non-toxic, but they will be most effective if left to dry completely.
Q) Do I need to cover or remove anything from the treatment area?
A) Although the chemicals we use are food-contact safe and very gentle, we do recommend removing or covering anything that you do not wish to come in contact with the sanitizing solution (i.e- food, electronics, etc.)
Q) Do the chemicals leave any residue or odor?
A) We will try our best to wipe up any overspray, but if any is missed, a harmless salt deposit can be left behind on glass surfaces (removable with glass cleaner). Directly after treatment there will be a slight odor similar to that of a pool. This odor will dissipate within a few hours.
